Our motto “We Shall Give Back” speaks to the importance that we place in our students being aware of the needs of those less fortunate than themselves. Every Reddam House Umhlanga student is expected to “give back” to the community through various school and student-initiated outreach activities every term.

OUR VISION

Our students are committed to ongoing community service projects. Children from ELS to Matric are involved with initiatives throughout the year.

A FEW RECENT PROJECTS:

Blood Donations

The National Blood Bank came to visit us on 22 June, from 08:00 – 12:00. Thank you to all students and parents who supported this worthy cause.

Slipper Day

Slipper Day in aid of the Reach for a Dream Foundation, raises money annually for children with critical illnesses. With this support, they can help make life better for these children and adolescents.

Project Dog

Thank you to all parents and students who donated towards 'Project Dog Food Mile'. A total of 260 tins of dog food, 175 bags of dog food, 6 blankets, 18 water bowls, 4 baskets, R 2000 in cash donations and lots of chew toys and leashes were collected for the dogs at Project Dog Durban, South Africa.

Easter Eggs

Thank you to all who donated Easter eggs towards the Hippity Hop Easter Egg Collection. An incredible 11500 eggs were collected for the children at Sizokhula, Vulingqondo and Thembela.
